AUGUST 14,2006 T+10-T+11

WE ARE OFFICALLY ENGRAFTED!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LUKE WAS JUMPING AROUND FOR DAYS BUT YESTERDAY WE WERE @ ANC OF 9 & WHITE COUNT OF .3 SO THEY THOUGHT SINCE HIS WHITE COUNT WAS GOING UP HE WOULD STABLIZE SOON AND HE DID HE HAD A ANC OF 287 TODAY AND HE IS DOING BETTER AS THE DAY GOES ON! LUKE IS SO STRONG HE IS AMAZING. HE IS STARTING TO DRINK MORE IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, AND THEY ARE DECREASING THE MORPHINE .WE NEED TO PRAY FOR LUKE TO FART AND BURP, BECAUSE HIS TUMMY IS FULL OF AIR AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING X-RAYS ON IT TO MONITOR IT. IF IT DOESNT GET SOME RELIEF THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT PUTTING A TUBE THROUGH HIS NOSE DOWN TO IS STOMACH TO RELIVE THE AIR AND BILE .
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM TO SEE LUKE GETTING BETTER .THIS WAS SCARY. I NEVER WANT TO EVER BE HERE AGAIN EVER.
THE DOCTORS AND NURSES HAVE BEEN GOOD BUT WE DO MISS OUR HOME AT ARNOLD PALMER.WE REALLY GOT COMFORTABLE THERE AND MISS EVERYONES SMILING FACES.OUT OF ALL THE NURSES ON THE BMT UNIT I GOT ONE FROM SEBASTAIN THAT IS GOOD FREINDS WITH OUR NEIGHBOR.SHE DID LUKES TRANSPLANT AND HAS HAD HIM ALMOST EVERYDAY AND WE JUST REALIZED ALL THIS SMALL WORL .ANYWAY LUKE IS DOING BETTER AND I CANNOT WAIT TILL TOMORROW IT SEEMS LIKE HE KEEPS IMPROVING EVERY MINUTE.
WE LOVE YOU ALL & WE CAN ONLY GO UP FROM HERE.
CARRIE & LUKE

ROMANS 8: 24-25
FOR IN THIS HOPE WE ARE SAVED.BUT HOPE THAT IS SEEN IS NO HOPE AT ALL.WHO HOPES FOR WHAT HE ALREADY HAS? BUT IF WE HOPE FOR WHAT WE DO NOT YET HAVE,WE WAIT FOR IT PATIENTLY.

THANK YOU GOD FOR HEALING LUKE WE CONTINUE TO WALK IN THE PATH YOU ARE TAKING US DOWN AND WE PRAY THAT YOU CONTINUE TO GUIDE OUR STEPS AND GUARD OUR MINDS,AND THAT WHEN WE THINK WE CANT GO ON THAT YOU GIVE US THE STRENGTH TO PUSH THROUGH AND SEE THE LIGHT SHINING SO FAR AWAY THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR BLESSINGS MOST OF ALL THANK YOU FOR LUKE.

Yeah, I love good news! So happy for you guys. I just kept praying for Luke to be comfortable in all of this. Now we get to pray for the passing of gas. God is good! Glad to hear you both are having better days.
Love,
Terri
