HI
EVERYONE THIS HAS BEEN A LOOOOOOONGGG DAY.
NOT MUCH TO REPORT .PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR LUKES FEVERS TO GO AWAY HE IS STILL HAVING ONE, AND HIS MOUTH IS HURTING HIM BAD .HE IS UNABLE TO TAKE TYLENOYL ANY LONGER SO IT IS HARD TO KEEP HIS FEVERS DOWN. HE IS SLEEPING ON A COOLING BLANKET WHICH MEANS, WE ARE SLEEPING ON A COOLING BLANKET.
NOT FUN.
IT IS AWFUL ENOUGH JUST TO BE SLEEPING IN THE HOSPITAL, LET ALONE ON A COLD PLASTIC THING WITH A VERY THIN SHEET OVER IT.
I THINK THIS IS TORTURE.I REALLY WANT TO SEE LUKE START FEELING BETTER .I AM HOPING ,AND BELIEVING TOMORROW WILL BRING A NEW DAY.LUKE IS SO STRONG .HE IS IN SO MUCH PAIN BUT HE STILL TRIES HIS HARDEST TO BE POLITE TO EVERYONE THAT COMES INTO SEE HIM BY WAVING BYE.IT IS SOO SAD.WE HAD A LITTLE SCARE YESTERDAY WHEN LUKE CHOKED ON HIS MOUTH SECRETIONS ,AND COULD NOT GET AIR SO NOW HE IS ON ASPIRATION PRECAUTIONS.I THINK WE ARE GETTING CLOSE TO THE RIGHT DOSE OF MORPHINE SO HE IS A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE.BECAUSE OF HIS HIGH FEVERS HE IS UNABLE TO HOLD ON TO HIS PLATLETS SO HE IS GETTING TRANSFUSED TWICE A DAY.WE CAN ONLY GO UP FROM HERE I HOPE.
WE LOVE YOU, AND NEED YOUR PRAYERS FOR FAST RECOVERY NO FEVERS AND NO UN-WANTED SURPRISES.
BELEIVE...
HOPE.....
AND TRUST !!!!
"WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE"
MATTHEW 19:26
WE WILL BE DREAMING OF SLEEPING ON A NICE SUNBAKED BLANKET AT THE BEACH UNDER A CLEAR BLUE SKY WITH THE SOUND OF THE WAVES IN OUR EARS, AND OUR TOES IN THE WARM SAND.
WE LOVE YOU ALL,
PLEASE COMMENT TO US SO WE CAN HEAR YOUR WORDS
WE MISS YOU ALL,
CARRIE & LUKE

Our pastor yesterday was talking about "what kind of father is God". He is caring, consistent, close, and competent. Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with God". Funny how it is from the book of Luke! I'm so glad you are able to let us know what is happening so we can pray for what you need. Love, Terri

Carrie & Luke,
we all think & pray for you guys. We love you all & can't wait until we can spend the day together in the "SUN". We pray for his fever stop & his mouth starts to feel better. Luke is such a strong boy & He gets it from his strong mother. We love you guys!!!!
