HI EVERYONE,
SORRY FOR THE BAD NEWS .LUKE DID NOT RESPOND TO THE LAST MIBG TREATMENT. HIS CANCER HAS SPREAD.
THEY ADMITTED US LAST WEDNESDAY AND WE ARE STILL INPATIENT TRYING TO GET LUKE'S PAIN UNDER CONTROL HE IS ON PCA PAIN MEDS. IF WE CAN STABILIZE HIS PAIN THEY WILL SEND US HOME {TO PHILADELPHIA HOME} FOR HOSPICE HOME CARE .THERE IS NOTHING LEFT FOR LUKIE TO DO AS FAR AS TREATMENT. HIS DISEASE HAS PROGRESSED TO FAR .
I BELIEVE WHERE THERE IS STILL LIFE THERE IS HOPE!
WE ARE PREPARED FOR WHATEVER JOURNEY WE GO DOWN.
WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
LUKE'S PAIN IS GETTING UNDER CONTROL AND WE CAN POSSIBLY BE DISCHARGED ON MONDAY .
WE WILL BE LABBING AND HE IS ON ORAL CHEMO TO TRY AND CUT BACK ON SOME DISEASE TO HELP RELIVE THE PAIN.
CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR US AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRESS FORWARD!
WITH ALL OUR LOVE TO ALL WHO HAVE SO DEEPLY LOVED US ON THIS JOURNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so sorry for what happened i feel so bad because this had to happen to a child this young keep your hopes high and everything will follow through i know that somewhere in my heart he will push through this and he will be old, healthy, and strong. really i have faith in luke and i believe he will make it =]

Hang in there Luke! God is watching over you & taking care of you. We are still praying for you & know that God will help you through this time in your young life. Keep the faith & don't give up. Miracles can happen! God is with you no matter what the path.

My heart is broken at the news that the treatment was not successful and I don't want Luke to be in any pain. I will continue to pray and believe, as you do Carrie, that "where there is still life, there is hope". I love you both & wish you were here in Orlando so I could see you everyday! Tell Luke Ms. Diana sends kisses (he'll wipe them off, I know it!). God has a plan for us all. It's up to all of us to let his plan happen. Much love! Diana
