Carrie,
I love all these pictures! Luke is growing up so fast. You are right, it is so hard to watch your child suffer so much. God is forever faithful this we do know! Luke has been in our daily prayers and we will be praying for guidance for you all and wisdom for the doctors. Kailey and I would like to come up to Gainesville to see you all before you leave. Please call us soon.
Love,
Lana

Carrie,
My heart is heavy from the news that you are going to have to continue this journey up to Philadelphia. I pray for Luke everyday that this disease will leave his body forever. It's so hard not to be closer to you all...have many hugs for Luke and you. You are so strong in your faith and inspire me to put more faith in God, myself. I loved looking at all of the pictures on your blog. Luke is so precious...I miss him so much. Please tell him that Ms. Diana misses and loves him (Lukey Dukey). I was so touched by the scripture you printed that James gave you. He is being tested, along with you and Luke. I pray for him daily, also, as I know it must be hard to see your brother endure so much and not to be selfish for time with Mom, by yourself. I pray that God will give him strength and knowledge and perseverence. Someday soon he'll be back out on the baseball field, with mom and Luke cheering him on. Continue to have strength and faith. I would love to see you and Luke before you leave. Please call me. I miss hearing Luke's sweet sound. Hope he's still drinking plenty of cha-cha. I truly miss you all so much. Take care. Love to all.
